A library is a part and parcel of a school as it helps students to gain and acquire knowledge. It is a storehouse of knowledge as it provides lots of information and details that students would require. It is a very large and enriched library. It is housed in a separate building. Our school library has a great collection of books. There are about 7000 books in the library. From small story books to large reference books, journals and magazines are all available in our library. Some of the books are very rare. They are all arranged in different sections so that it becomes easy for those who search for a particular book. We have a librarian who keeps a track of all the books that go in and out of the library. The students can read and borrow books from the library. For this, they have issued library cards. The borrowed books have to be returned after one week. The library is usually a very quiet place and it is often seen full with students and teachers. There is a separate reading room in the library where students could go and read whatever they like, but they have to maintain silence. Our school library is a great attraction for us. We are really proud of having such an enriched library.
