Electricity is a blessing for mankind but the regular discontinuation of the electricity which is known as load shedding is certainly a big curse for any nation. Load shedding is a provocative question in Bangladesh. It means the suspension of the supply of electricity for a certain period of because of the shortage of power production. Load shedding is caused by different causes. The shy production of electricity in our country is especially answerable for load shedding. Misuse of electricity is another reason for it. Associate in the Nursing ineligible affiliation of electricity is additionally answerable for load shedding. Load shedding creates a problem of far-reaching consequences in the socio-economic development of a country. Due to load shedding production in mills and factories comes to a standstill. Fresh food taken in the refrigerator gets rotten. Load shedding at night encourages the miscreants in their violent works. Domestic life becomes painful. The sufferings of the students due to load shedding knows no bound. They sit idly in the dark closing their books. They suffer terribly due to load shedding on the night before their examination. At the time of load shedding electrical devices like computer, television, etc can’t run. The patients also suffer terribly for load shedding. Load shedding plunges the city or part of it into darkness and it seems that we are living in the primitive age. During summer it causes unbearable torture on the people. In fact, load shedding causes great sufferings to the people and an irreparable loss to the country. In order to solve this problem, our government should pay serious attention. Further, we have to stop unplanned distribution, disconnect illegal connections, prevent misuse or system loss. Solving this problem is really a big challenge for our government but if we can’t conquer the challenge our dream of making a digital Bangladesh will go in vain.
