A Winter Morning Paragraph

  1. Winter is one of the six seasons in Bangladesh. It is the coldest season of the year. A morning in winter is misty and cold. Everything seems hazy and indistinct. As a result, communication system is disrupted. And it causes much hardship to people. Sometimes the fog is so dense that the sun rays can not get through it. Even things at a little distance can hardly be seen. Dew- drops fall at night. The grass remains wet with dew drops. When the morning sun peeps they look like glittering gold on grass and plants. This scene makes the earth look beautiful. Date juice sellers become busy for selling date juice from door to door. The birds feel happy to see the rays of the sun.  When the sun rises, dew drops sparkle like pearls.  Animals, too are helpless. They hide themselves in the corner of house and try to save themselves from the biting cold outside. The cow and other animals can not come out. But it is not so in every morning. Sometimes, cold waves blow throughout the country. Farmers go to the field with hooka in their hands.  Old people and children shiver in cold. They gather straw and make fires to warm themselves. They also bask in the sun. People in general and children get up late. In a winter morning housewives make delicious and sweet cakes, pies of date juice and many other things. People from all walks of life, especially villagers enjoy eating native cakes which are called Pithas in Bangla. The scene of a winter morning is very transitory. The scene of the winter morning vanishes as the day advances. The sun goes up and the fog melts. A winter morning is enjoyable in many respects.
